SEO sets Specialist Construction Company takes off!

Problem

A specialist construction company had a website that was just not working for their business. All the changes made using the content management system failed to impress or to get enquiries.  Adwords was used to drive people to the site but still the visitor’s did not contact the client. A test of pertinent keyphrases did not find the website in the first three pages of the Search engine results pages (SERPs). The owner realised that there was something wrong with the site but could not work out what.  They were too close to the business and the website to see it from their customers’ perspective.  They had to do something to make the site work for them.

Solution

A user experience review was carried out on the site and it was determined that a new website was required.  A new developer was contracted and during the development process our user experience consultant periodically reviewed the website as it was being built.

Research was carried out with clients and potential customers and a set of initial keywords was compiled.  The initial key phrases were researched for commercial viability before a final list was settled on.  SEO Authoring of the site was done and the new content was optimised for the customers and the search engines.

Outcomes

The new site was published to the internet at 12:00 noon.  By 5:00pm they site could be found in Google for ten of the thirty commercial keyphrases identified in the research.  In three weeks the site had generated a 700% ROI.  Today it is still producing far more enquiries’ than all the other promotional methods used in the past.

Cost

User experience review, keyword research, optimisation of website and content copy, ongoing management £3,900.00.  The cost of new website £2,200.00
