This workshop is bespoke to YOUR business or organisation.

Helping you to understand how to effectively use Google Adwords and Analytics to promote and track your business online.  Enabling you to take action in this proven form of paid promotion, driving targeted customers to your website and increasing conversion.  Accessing and understanding a wealth of valuable information, not only for tracking the performance of your Adwords campaign, but for the overall activity of your website.

Note that this is not another workshop for the technologically inclined or initiated, this is about business, YOUR business and how to get the best return on your investment of resources.   Delivered in a straightforward way, using non-technical language, full of insights and real-world observations, practical techniques and actionable strategies.

  • Setting up Google Analytics, accounts, tracking code and accessing the data

  • The Google Analytics interface: Setting and comparing date ranges, graphs and metrics

  • Reports: detail, segmentations and exporting

  • Key performance indicators, what should you be measuring and tracking

  • Interpreting results and reports: analyzing data, data trends and visualisations

  • Page-views, visits, and visitor metrics; unique visitors, new v returning visitors

Who should attend?

This workshop is for those who:

.         Are planning to use Google Adwords and/or Analytics

.         Have used Google Adwords or Analytics and did not get the results they expected or are experiencing difficulty in understanding or managing them

.         Have a website that is not be performing to expectations

Essential learning for:

  • Business owners and directors including new business owners or those in ‘start-up’

  • Sales or marketing managers or those who wish to begin or improve their focus on the internet for business  and wish to implement or commission a google adwords campaign

  • Those responsible for the development and/or management of a web site for their business and to access and understand the information available to track, monitor and analyse performance by effective interpretation of data

Prerequisites – what skills or experience should you already possess

It is not assumed that the delegates have any prior knowledge of website development or internet marketing, but will have used the internet (for browsing, email, etc.) and be familiar with their company or organisation’s function. 

Essential requirement

It is assumed that a website is already online, and that Google Analytics has been installed on the site and is ‘verified’.  Appropriate login details are required to access the online data prior to, and during the session (your website developer or designer should be able to facilitate this for you).

Format – what type of course?

This workshop is normally delivered as a one-day session.  Focused on your specific business situation.  There will be lots of opportunities to discuss, question and share experiences as well as some practical activities.

Location – where is the course held?

These sessions can be delivered at our premises in South Wales or they can be presented at any suitable venue convenient to you (and suitable for training)

We deliver workshops, training courses and seminars all over the UK and many locations in Europe.

How many delegates

At our premises, we limit groups to a maximum of 6 delegates to keep the tutor/delegate ratio as high as possible.  At any other location it is limited only by the size of the room and the clients requirements, although we recommend less than 10 for this type of bespoke day session where there is a focus on your specific situation. 

We can also provide shorter seminars or conference presentations for much larger groups.

Price – how much (per one-day session)

At our premises: £650+vat

Includes: a copy of the presentation slides and other course material; refreshments (tea/coffee biscuits etc)

At any other location: £950+vat
Plus travel expenses and overnight stay if required (at our discretion).

Client provides suitable venue, projector and screen, whiteboard or flip chart.
