In-Company Bespoke Training

More than bespoke internet marketing training for you or your  team. Our in-company offering is a combination of consultancy and training, put simplistically, we discuss your business objectives with you and tailor training specifically to help you meet those objectives through your website.

Whether you need to be able to write effective web copy, to run your own email marketing campaigns or to manage the Search Engine Optimisation and promotion of your website (among other things), In-company bespoke training is your route to understanding and empowerment.

Some might need to learn a broad scope such as selecting and positioning keywords for your database of products that you sell online.  Others may have a narrower more detailed requirement such as, how to word effective questions for an online survey and ensure that users can complete the forms easily.

Delivery of In-company bespoke training

Ensuring that your online surveys make good sense, that your questions are not ambiguous, repetitive or contradictory, and most importantly, the usability of the form construction, layout and formatting.  Ensuring that your target respondents are able to complete the form without confusion or barriers and ensure that you get the highest possible successful response.

Managing the SEO and copy for a product database

Large databases of products being sold online often present problems when it comes to SEO.  Normally charged by the page, it can simply be too expensive to get the SEO completed on a large number of pages, especially if you are adding pages to your site and losing others on a regular basis. Principles and practice are applied to your specific sector and target market.

Information Architecture for your own website

Developing the information architecture - the structure and hierarchy of the information and pages in the site.  Maintaining focus on your own target customer, understanding the need for customer focused categories and category labels, how your users interact with your site, etc.  We even ran a short card sorting session with the client, and provided guidance on how to do this effectively, enabling them to use this low-tech but effective technique themselves for future projects.

Email marketing campaigns

Setting up and managing an email marketing campaign, understanding how and why email marketing systems work, what to say, how to structure it, writing the copy, legal considerations, and so on.  The last client whom we helped with this, at their request, we even arranged a short session on setting up the software to be included in the day so that when they got back to their office, they could start straight away.

Remember the goal of In-Company Bespoke Training is not to try to make you an expert in a given field in a day, this would be unrealistic and unfair on the delegates.  Rather we facilitate your own solutions so that you are empowered to carry out the work on an ongoing basis.
